What was Round one for?
Round one was to increase the activity. Once other members realise that people
actually are entering, hopefully we'll get more members, and thus more entries.

What is Round two for?
After realising that it is hard to get favourites in the original section this
time I have decided to revert back to the trashy scan idea. Haha. Anyway. If you
were a little upset about missing out on faves last time, this time you'll get
the faves for sure. Well, read on first

APPROPRIATION: definition AS
FOLLOWS
1. Below are three links to three very popular animes or categories
2. You can use any style you want. Don't care if you grunge, vector, abstract,
flip it, rotate it, crop it, cut it, invert it- it's up to you.
3. All three scans have some sort of "bad quality" to it.
4. It could be that there is text covering the chara, or that it is hard to
extract; either way, that is part of the challenge.
5. Pick ONE of the scans I have provided
links for. These images were selected pretty much at random, taken into
consideration what other walls have done. These are generally the not so popular
scans people wall.
6. Appropriation - Please read the following sentence I have typed:
There is no darkness where there is
light
Use this as a basis to create the theme of your wall. It ties in well for all 3
scans, so nobody should have any trouble. You do not need to incorporate it into
the title or whatever, but it will be nice if you copy and paste that phrase,
followed by what you thought when you read the line. This should be reflected in
the wall.
SCANS
Here are the 3 scans. Choose ONE. The categories are Sumi Keiichi, Tenjho Tenge and AIR respectively. They are popular
and high quality scans, that are not as popular and not walled as much. I
haven't seen any of the three anime, and it doesn't matter at present. Choose
your scan wisely. No scan takes precedence over the others, but makes sure your
wall will reflect the theme sentence!

4. Preferably this is incorporated into a WALLPAPER.
5. Stock photos may be used.

Paradox~ People come here to be appreciated. Some feel they are even more
unappreciated due to this group, because it ironically has an inverse effect

feature underappreciated walls. Not those who are getting plenty of
attention.
03. Member Selection Criteria Can be
harsh, or can be ok at the moment. There needs to be some ammendment.
4. Member Activity Yes. There are some
inactive members (hahaha...)

STIMULUS: definition AS FOLLOWS
1. Below youââ¬â¢ll find a cute looking gif file. It should be flapping around.
2. Use that gif as a stimulus. No, it ainââ¬â¢t the wings youââ¬â¢re meant to concentrate on. Itââ¬â¢s the blasted music.
3. In your wallpaper you must have something music related. It can be in a hall, you can have the Sydney Opera House in the back, a stereo on the table, a character wearing headphones, a few obscure musical notes, a band score as the back, a CD shelf, a CD store, Michael Jackson, an iPod, sony: it doesnââ¬â¢t matter how large or small the reference to music is. It just has to be there. And if you ââ¬âreally- want, have something flapping as well
4. Hereââ¬â¢s the whole fun of it all:
Your wallpaper must be submitted into a category with LESS THAN 100 items IN IT
So say goodbye to that Naruto scan with Sasuke holding the guitar- yeah!
5. When you submit your wallpaper in the group guestbook, have the link to you wall, state your category and roughly state the number of gallery items in it. You do not need to tell us 99 or 67, just tell us close to 100 or 70, but it cannot have MORE than 100 gallery items.

The last theme has been quite a success to say, considering it was the first ^_^ This time, things will get even -more- interesting. You may have realised that the themes have not been particularly easy, but after all, it's a challenge ^_^ You learn... ehehe
What was Round one for?

What is Round two for?
After realising that it is hard to get favourites in the original section this time I have decided to revert back to the trashy scan idea. Haha. Anyway. If you were a little upset about missing out on faves last time, this time you'll get the faves for sure. Well, read on first
This fortnight's theme is APPROPRIATION
The time limit is 2 weeks... so start as soon as you get this gbook entry ^^
This means the category Anime wallpapers (or vectors)
APPROPRIATION: definition AS FOLLOWS
1. Below are three links to three very popular animes or categories
2. You can use any style you want. Don't care if you grunge, vector, abstract, flip it, rotate it, crop it, cut it, invert it- it's up to you.
3. All three scans have some sort of "bad quality" to it.
4. It could be that there is text covering the chara, or that it is hard to extract; either way, that is part of the challenge.
5. Pick ONE of the scans I have provided links for. These images were selected pretty much at random, taken into consideration what other walls have done. These are generally the not so popular scans people wall.
6. Appropriation - Please read the following sentence I have typed:
There is no darkness where there is light
Use this as a basis to create the theme of your wall. It ties in well for all 3 scans, so nobody should have any trouble. You do not need to incorporate it into the title or whatever, but it will be nice if you copy and paste that phrase, followed by what you thought when you read the line. This should be reflected in the wall.
SCANS
Here are the 3 scans. Choose ONE. The categories are Sumi Keiichi, Tenjho Tenge and AIR respectively. They are popular and high quality scans, that are not as popular and not walled as much. I haven't seen any of the three anime, and it doesn't matter at present. Choose your scan wisely. No scan takes precedence over the others, but makes sure your wall will reflect the theme sentence!

We have decided to conduct a competition for our group ^^
So what is this for?
Well, we thought that this would be a great idea to get members to look at each other's stuff, and it's just a bit of fun so that you can think through what you want to do with this (^_~)
Basically we give out a theme or category and sometimes even a theme sentence you must incorporate into the wallpaper or a sentence you must complete ^_^
This month's theme is ORIGINAL
The time limit is 2 weeks... so start as soon as you get this gbook entry ^^
(Original)
This means the categories Anime wallpapers, General wallpapers, doujinshi, Abstract art
Definition is as follows:
1. NO scans of anime, games or celebrities may be used.
2. Doujinshi, original sketches, and manga scans are ok.
3. You may colour these scans yourself or vector them as you like.
4. Preferably this is incorporated into a WALLPAPER.
5. Stock photos may be used.
Rules:
1. Tutorials are allowed to help you, but bear in mind that it is very obvious when you use tutorials
2. You cannot use the above mentioned scans, even if you invert them or vector them.
3. Vectors are allowed. Scans that are coloured by manga groups are NOT allowed.
4. The wallpaper does not necessarily have to include a character. It can be a landscape you have created if you wish.
5. It may be a abstract wall for desktop use if you wish, though keep in mind they need endless experimentation and extensive knowledge of filters.

There have been a few complaints and it has been decided that the group needs reform, and the best way to solve these problems is by expressing your views, how you feel, and feel free to make any suggestions. Here are the 4 main issues we are concentrating on:
01. Underappreciated/ Appreciated Paradox~ People come here to be appreciated. Some feel they are even more unappreciated due to this group, because it ironically has an inverse effect :/
02. Popular Submissions We need to feature underappreciated walls. Not those who are getting plenty of attention.
03. Member Selection Criteria Can be harsh, or can be ok at the moment. There needs to be some ammendment.
4. Member Activity Yes. There are some inactive members (hahaha...)
